You know the big problem with a writers' strike?

Writers love to write about themselves. At length. Such as this. You'd think it was the Battle of Normandy. All I want to know is whether the strike is over or not, and when they'll be making more episodes of Lost.

Ausiello at TV Guide keeps saying that if the strike ends now-ish, they can shoot and air six more episodes this season, but I don't know where he got that number or what makes him think that after fighting so hard to get to do the final three 16-episode seasons their way, the creators won't fight equally had to get all 16 episodes of this season done and aired more or less as planned.
