More Lost crap
BuddyTV looks at some of the "easter eggs" in the newest episode. I remembered the cop as being Ana-Lucia's partner, played by Michael Cudlitz, the awesomest guy ever from Band of Brothers. But I had no idea Hurley's old boss/employee (and Locke's old boss) Randy was the guy videotaping Hurley's crash. If you think that's way too much of a coincidence, this show is not for you.
Also, you should check out the Lost "mobisodes" if you haven't yet. They're these little 2-3 minute scenes that are supposed to be "missing pieces" from throughout the history of the show, going all the way back to the pilot. My favorites are the two featuring the late, not-so-great Arzt, who's probably gotten more screen time since he had his little oopsie 3 years ago than he ever got when he was all in one piece.
I don't know if Dan Roebuck, star of Blowing Smoke the movie, even reads this blog anymore. But if so: Sir, Arzt is seriously my all-time second-favorite character on Lost. And the only reason he's not #1 is because Hurley has been kicking so much ass. They never saw your greatness, Mr. Arzt. Nor should they have, but that's why I liked you.

I'm thinking about the next mind-effing-blowing thing they could do. And I'm thinking it could be the opposite of last season's finale; that is, something you think is a flashforward but is actually a flashback. And it would be mind-blowing because it turns out that two characters met BEFORE the island. And it would probably have to be two characters that never met on the island (or at least two characters with reason to pretend that they don't know each other). And I can only come up with Michael and Juliet at this point.
Yeah, that's a hell of a lot of speculation. But it would be fun, if they could do it in a non-stupid way. And the writers are peaking now.

Or maybe that EVERYTHING we've seen so far has been a flashback, and the main story is really taking place at some point in the future.
