Losty Lost Lost

Male Jim Treacher | Category: TV

Okay, so:

The Oceanic Six

  1. Jack
  2. Kate
  3. Hurley
  4. Whoever's in the coffin (My money's on Michael... or Locke?)
  5. Whoever FutureKate had to get back to when she met FutureJack?
  6. ???

How great was Jorge Garcia? The only correct answer is that he was really, really great. He showed more emotions in one episode than most of the other characters have shown so far.

I laughed out loud at least 3 times. Not because it was funny, but because it made me so happy. I still have no idea what's going on, but it doesn't feel like they're dicking me around. It feels like they know where they're going.

P.S. As usual, Sepinwall says it all.

So, Hurley's time in the booby hatch was apparently a flashback from the flashforward in last season's finale. Unless FutureJack's grown a beard more than once.

Come to think of it, did Hurley tell Jack that he WOULD look bad with a beard or that he DID look bad with a beard? Seriously, I didn't Tivo it.

Oh, and by the way, DAMN YOU, WRITER'S STRIKE!

It's definitely before Jack's Big Freakout. Not long after they got back, looks like. Jack's having screwdrivers for breakfast, but he's still at least putting on appearances. Plus now we know it was Hurley who planted the seed of doubt in Jack's mind about whether leaving the island was the right thing.

Also it appears that Jack has an enormous fall from grace as he talks about still signing autographs when he's in public. Whereas Hurley denies being a celebrity when he's interrogated by the cop, which in true Lost style has the cop somehow related to Anna-Lucia, that foxy vixen.

And who was Naomi talking about before she dies when she says "tell her I did my best" or something?

I believe she wanted them to tell her sister that she loved her.

#5 - has got to be Sawyer.
#4 - may be Ben? Jack said he wasn't friend or family, Kate acted a little surprised that he'd ask if she went to the funeral. I'd sooner imagine both of those referring to Ben instead of Michael or Locke.

I just don't think we're going to see Michael or Walt again. Maybe briefly in a cameo, but I think coffin guy is a member of the current cast.

But Ben wasn't a passenger on Oceanic 815.

And Harold Perrineau is coming back this season.

Ah, but the guy in the coffin wasn't necessarily one of the "Oceanic Six". If the "Oceanic Six" were celebrities, maybe there would've been more than one person at the funeral. Or maybe everyone else is right and Perrineau will be in it. I stand by my longshot.

Even though Ben would be unlikely to leave the island willingly. Dammit.
