Dr. Phil stinks

Phil McGraw says his recent visit to Britney Spears in the hospital was appropriate. His only regret: issuing a statement about it."I definitely think if I had it to do over again, I probably wouldn't make any statement at all. Period..."
About anything. Ever.
He disputes those who say he inappropriately discussed her condition in the statement, which referred to Spears being "in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.""I said that before I ever met her," he says.
Is this guy for real? There should be some sort of government Oprah Review Board, and she should have to go in front of it for subjecting us all to this drawling, conscienceless clod. I mean, Britney is intolerable, but at least she provided entertainment at one point in her life. Dear Dr. Phil: Saying that you are no longer needed would imply you ever were. Go bilk yourself.

So you're telling us you're a dishonest hack who manipulates others for his own financial and narcisstic benefit - how's that working out for ya?

Yeah, bringing a bunch of cameras into the hospital room of someone suffering from media exposure burnout (among other things) might not have been the best idea in retrospect. It might have been worth it, however, to see the look on his face when he realized he was in over his head and that this girl needed a real doctor.
