I don't even watch 24, but I have been impressed with the way this guy (and his agent) have rescued his career from the gutter. There was a very real chance he'd only end up being remembered for having been ditched at the altar by Julia Roberts. But he got hotter with age - the only way was up, really - and turned into Jack Bauer. What a coup!

So he had to go and ruin it all by drunk driving. Ugh. It's no better for a middle-aged man to do this than it is for a young and stupid celebutante. If anything, it's worse, because he should know better. Throw away the key!

So he got drunk, so what? I don't remember getting upset enough to blog about Paris Hilton getting drunk either.

Don't get me wrong, he's a total chode. But he's not one because of this.

He got drunk...AND DROVE. That's the offensive part. It's also the FOURTH time he's done it.
