I'm in London, where the newspapers and television are full of news that Amy Winehouse is not only NOT getting treatment for her various addictions and emotional problems, but she is also claiming that rehab is a "cop-out" and she just needs to spend time with her dad when she gets overwhelmed.

Hmm: Getting help for the problems that are destroying you and your family is a "cop-out," but expecting your father to be your personal therapist, constant companion, and teddy bear is perfectly reasonable?

This saga is getting as boring and annoying as Pete Doherty's various "efforts" at reform. With that in mind, here is my promise to you: This is the last post I'm going to write about Amy Winehouse until she either goes into treatment or is found dead in a pool of her own vomit.
