Who said Hollywood is completely out of ideas?
Ridley Scott is going to make a feature-film version of Monopoly. Yeah, the board game. Maybe you used to play it, way back when you didn't have absolutely anything better to do with your time than play Monopoly. But hey, there's a precedent: Shakespeare wrote a whole play based on the game Othello. "A minute to learn, a lifetime to master!" I'm pretty sure I'm exactly right on that one.

Does this mean that everyone will avoid the last 10 minutes of the movie because it's more expensive to sit through?

Monopoly must be the most boring board game ever. I don't think I ever made it through a whole game without wishing I could die. Even when I was winning! Give me Trivial Pursuit or Sorry any day.
