Blurty Rock

I don't really have anything to add about Alec Baldwin's parenting style, but I didn't want to waste that headline. At least he's not claiming it was a joke, like when he flipped out on Late Night with Conan O'Brien however many years ago.

P.S. The full text of Baldwin's apology excuse. It sucks that he's going through a bitter divorce, but I'm not sure it's an excuse for talking to his 11-year-old daughter like she's a concierge who sent up the wrong champagne. (What, that's never happened to you? Consider yourself lucky, because it is enraging.)

"You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do.)

Once my book is published, I'm sure more people will understand the incredible strains created by parental alienation."

Fascinating. What is this "divorce" that he speaks of? And "custody battles"? I can't wait to read the book to find out.

Seriously, the man thinks that he is the only person who has ever experienced this?
