Why creative people shouldn't have children.

Patrick Enright is my new hero.

He writes about why Ben Stiller isn't funny anymore, but his theory in general has a deep truth to it.

He lists Anchorman as a Stiller bomb. If I recall, Stiller was in that movie for about 2 minutes. So he's either saying Anchorman was a bomb( I thought it was pretty funny ), or that Stiller's appearance was shite( a bit unfair).

He also says Dodgeball sucked. I liked it.

Oh well. Stiller peaked at Zoolander, imo.

"Years ago, when we were both young, things were different. It was a simpler time then, a time when we were doffing our gold lamé parachute pants and slathering on the Teen Spirit, an era when we really were too sexy for our shirts."

Okay, that's where I stop reading.

If he tried just once to play against the Jewish nerdy/schnooky/nervous type, he could get back to his roots. What about his performance in The Royal Tannenbaums? That was OK.
