If you haven't checked out Gallery of the Absurd, you must remedy the situation at once. The artist who calls herself 14 is a babe with talent and biting wit who creates kick-ass paintings based on the ridiculousness of celebrity culture.

She always wanted to be a comic book artist, and here, in the pages of a glossy tabloid full of stalking paparazzi photos, catty commentary and the exposed bloated excess of celebrity existence, she had finally found the material to amuse and inspire her. And that is how Gallery of the Absurd was born.

I highly recommend checking out all of her skewerings of Paris Hilton, and she really has nailed Lindsay Lohan (in the artistic sense). Also, her Tara Reid paintings are hilarious and sad. I mean, what can one say about a woman who can create goatse-inspired Star Jones art?

14 is a genius, and if any of the celebrity weeklies or monthlies had any sense, they'd be paying her to work for them. Alas, they are pretty much in the pockets of PR people and probably don't have the balls to publish such fiercely accurate work.
