Watch the first episode of Lucky Louie for free

It's available here, if you don't mind the crappy quality and the huge HBO logo superimposed on the screen. I really liked it. One of my favorite TV critics, Alan Sepinwall, didn't like it as much. One of my favorite comedians, Jim Norton, who's on Lucky Louie, called Sepinwall out about his review on the Opie & Anthony show yesterday. They didn't see eye-to-eye, to say the least, which you can read about here and here if you're interested.

Pretty much my only criticism of Lucky Louie is that the people who can best relate to the show probably can't afford HBO in the first place. But it made me laugh out loud several times.

P.S. Oh, and it's totally NSFW.

I do envy you people. Able to watch HBO on a seperate channel all day. Here in Holland the dutch TV stations sometimes air series from HBO. They are my favorit series, so wel made and the humor is very good.
I watched Sopranos, Six feet under, Carnivale, Rome and recently started to watch Deadwood. The Wire is waiting on DVD to be watched (series 1 & 2). Seems that everything HBO touches, turns to gold.
Problem is: we have to wait a long time before it is shown on TV. Sopranos will start series 5 here in the autumn. In the US serie 6 just ended (ende of series I believe)
On my list is also: Curb your Enthousiasm. Saw a couple of shows on TV, didn't catch on, so it was terminated. Luckily sometimes shows like these come along on the internet. So thats another way of seeing the shows.
Lucky Louie, it wil probably take some time before it "hits" Europe.
