I'm told that it's a good idea to talk about the movie once in awhile. Since this is the Blowing Smoke blog and all. Go figure! So how about now and then, we take a look at one of the many quotable quotes from the flick? Like this one:

Never trust anything that bleeds for a week without dying.

Relax, all you hemophiliacs out there. This is just referring to women and their hoo-ha's. They have all kinds of funny stuff going on down there, which is why Mother always changes the channel when one of those "ladies' problems" commercials comes on. Or, I was thinking maybe it could refer to zombies too? But they're already dead, aren't they. You still shouldn't trust zombies, I guess, but not for that reason. Yeah, it means, y'know, ladies bleeding from the swimsuit area. Hey, whatever floats your boat, girls! If that's how you want to live your life. So the idea behind this saying is that you can't trust a woman because of her menses, which makes perfect logical sense to me.

Discuss. (HINT: I am an idiot.)

I think I first heard that quote on South Park, and I'm sure it predates that show, too.

Still a great quote, tho'.

It was also a joke Andrew Dice Clay used.
